With years of experience supporting looked-after children and their families, I am deeply committed to ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of every child in care. My career has been shaped by a passion for advocating for vulnerable young people, working tirelessly to create environments where they can heal, grow, and thrive.
Collaboration is key in this work, and I take pride in leading multidisciplinary teams—bringing together schools, healthcare professionals, mental health services, police, and community organizations to create holistic care plans tailored to each child’s emotional, educational, and social needs. I’m especially skilled at guiding children through the transition into care, making sure their wishes and feelings shape their journey.
I regularly chair and contribute to Child in Need meetings, LAC reviews, and case conferences, ensuring all professionals involved are aligned in providing consistent, effective support. My experience includes working with children who have faced trauma, using therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices to help them build resilience and move forward positively.
Behind the scenes, I maintain detailed case records and uphold Ofsted and statutory standards, ensuring compliance while managing complex caseloads. I’m also dedicated to continuous learning, always seeking new training and reflective opportunities to strengthen my practice.
Most importantly, I believe every child in care deserves love, stability, and opportunity. My mission is to empower them, stand by them, and work alongside dedicated carers and professionals to build brighter futures—one child at a time.
